A Little Story About How We Got Here

Hey! I’m Logan

I am the owner of Rosenbalm Academy of Music. My wife Jennifer is the love of my life, and my greatest delight is raising four amazing boys. A decade ago, this was all just a dream after my wife, Jennifer and I returned from 9 months in New Zealand where we lived an adventurous story as missionaries. I had already been a head band director for the Jones School District after graduating from Oklahoma Christian University, but I wanted to create something special.

In 2013, I left the public school system and started teaching private music lessons full time. I opened up my first music academy near 15th and Broadway in June of 2015. And we just opened up our newest location in Broadway Square in July of 2016. It's kind of crazy to think about what’s happened since stepping out to create Rosenbalm Academy of Music.

Our amazing team has had the opportunity to teach hundreds of students of all ages how to learn and love playing their instrument. Our team has grown tremendously in the last 10 years, and we believe that anyone can learn any instrument if they have the desire and drive. As teachers, we personalize the way we teach based on the individual strengths and needs of each particular student. We do this because we always value the person we are teaching over our educational expectations.

With seven years of experience, I believe we have created something special for this community and impacted the lives of both individuals and their families. As we look forward to helping more people grow to love playing music, we are also grateful for each person who has trusted us with the opportunity to help them grow as a musician, and most of all as a person. P.S. I love performing and creating music as well. You might see me playing live as part of a jazz combo, jazz band, chorus, pit orchestra, concert band, rock band, lots of solo piano and singing, and worship leading. I trained classically on the piano and saxophone at Oklahoma Christian University. I learned how to play by ear and with passion from my dad, Rory Rosenbalm.
